Did most of the work myself, everything but the counter installation. Glass backsplash, maple cabinets, granite counters. Also wallpapered the pantry for fun. (Shelves have been installed) All together cost under $15k. Kitchen was a horrible 90s wood and white disaster before.

Looks fantastic! I prefer cabinets that go all the way to the ceiling, but the cabinets look great, and I love the backsplash.

Good job! Looks nice and homey and welcoming. For an extra touch of personality could keep your eye out for some touches, like more interesting window treatments or a runner between the island and cabinets.
