2017 was highlight vintage for me (maybe my favourite wine of all time), but Canta Mañana is something special every year. Enjoy this pearl.

40% Mourvèdre, 30% Carignan and 30% Grenache Noir. Roussillon rosés at their finest. Very expressive nose, full of fresh roses and currants and a zesty note to it. On the palate it’s very winey, with a balance between structure and acidity. Forget about rosé piscine, Roussillon rosé has texture and structure. The palate developed notes of black cherries, with a great depth to it. It keeps a brilliant acidity that manages to break down the residual sugars (I’d say about 2-3 gr here) and not make the wine too heady. It was paired with spicy Chinese ravioli soup, the residual sugar worked more than well to create a kind of sweet and sour pairing that broke down the spiciness. This wine can easily wait a few more years, it has a great potential. A nice way to rediscover rosé.
