I moved back to Canada recently and to try to avoid the markups you see from the natty wine retailers here I’ve been ordering directly from producers. This pinot noir, marquette, savagnin blend comes from Hinterland in Prince Edward County, ON, and holy moly. Fruity bouquet on the nose, and fruity but not overly sweet on the palate. Acidity complements a tomato sauce with pasta really well. Works with food, even better on its own. Totally crushable glou glou.
