I’m sure this isn’t s popular opinion but I really hate most kitchen islands. They’re in the middle of the space and you always are having to walk around them. And it’s also the place where everything gets dumped so it always looks cluttered.

What does it look like in real life though? Mail on the island, bowl and dishes and crap shoved up against the backsplash. Dirty pots on the stove, etc. I love these porn pics, but this is not how people live. I want to see it in action.
