Cuvée Marguerite is made from (50%) Muscat d’Alexandrie, (30%) Macabeu and (20%) of Muscat à petits grains from century old vines cultivated between 300 and 400 meters above the sea level on schist and marl soils. The juice fermented in 500 litre wood truncated vats and, after malolactic fermentation, it was aged for 12 months before being bottled. 10% ABV.

After an hour of air, the wine started displaying complex exotic fruit aromas such as papaya but quickly evolved to a more white flesh fruit aromas with some citrus fruit hints. In the mouth it displayed similar notes that push towards the riper side with subtle bitter ends. Good finish and overall well balanced wine with some tension. I’m never disappointed by his wines and they always offer something different. Ready to drink!
