Man, I lived in two different loft buildings in fair park. Top floor corner unit in first one. Think it was the old Goodyear tire building. Astronomical electric bill, poorly sized AC unit couldn’t keep up with Texas heat. (1500/mo)
First floor in second building new refit build, great place. Fucking flooded with water three feet high in less than a year. (1700/mo)
Before either of those, old flour mill in south Dallas. Poor upkeep but neat building. (1100/mo)
Wouldn’t live in any of those any longer, as much as I enjoy the style… I prefer having my work commute under five minutes. Also Deep Ellum has become a shithole again.

That sofa closest to the wall looks so comfortable. Like flopping into a pillow. Perfect space to relax while listening to music.
Gosh that’s beautiful. Lofts with exposed bricks and ceilings usually come off cold to me but this feels very warm and cozy.
